Spring Updates:

City of Malibu Mass Evacuation Plan Community Workshop
April 28th 6-8 pm Malibu City Hall Council Chambers
Fire Abatement notes – Your board has been diligently following up on certain fire clearance items on the road. We have been in direct communication with the city, public works and related.
All of us share the responsibility to keep the Road fire safe. Make sure to keep your property clear of brush, have hoses on both sides of your property, have an evacuation plan, and make sure to discuss your plan with your neighbors
Radar signs – Recently made aware of some maintenance issues with certain speed cameras on the road, and working towards making all 4 signs work properly.
Now is the time to “Join the Road” as we have recently added pay by credit card

Annual Dues are $200- Owner, $100- Tenant- $100- Business – Advertise your business only if you are a member. Call for details.
Community meetings / updates:
April 11th meeting at Bluffs Park- Wendy Carroll -President and the MRA board members met each President /Leader for each Malibu HOA/POA. Discussed how to unite and come together in times of crisis and evacuation.
Included were a few City council members who joined and discussed local budgets and fire safety. Next meeting is in the fall. Thank you to Haylynn Conrad, Doug Stewart, Marianne Riggins and Don Schmidtz from Schmidtz and Associates.
The next meeting of the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy will take place on Monday, April 20, 2026.
